If you weren’t alive when 9/11 happened, there was a big swing of super patriotic music that came in the aftermath. Most of the stuff was horrible propaganda— looking at you, Toby Keith — but there was also a lot of downright weird stuff like Petey Pablo flipping “Raise Up” into a patriotic anthem. The song has been wiped from the internet for the most part, but this random skydiving Youtube has it in full.
Speaking of random tunes, today’s newsletter is all about the music. 10 different scenarios, 10 different playlists, all curated by yours truly.
